Hard, flexible and heavy wood. Used in the manufacture of furniture, furnishings, parquet and shafts on implements. Dark ash is harder and more durable than oak. There are 16 shades of wood available. The darker, the harder the tree is.
Merbau
One of the most popular species of exotic wood in Europe. Merbau is extremely resistant – both for mechanical damage and those caused by the harmful effects of chemical and biological factors e.g. chemicals of various kinds, insects, moisture or fungi.
